Allow me to gloat for just one tiny minute. That post I just wrote? We indexed it in under a minute. I can find it by URL, keyword, or tag on Technorati. Ourvariouscompetitors have yet to pick it up, some twenty minutes later.
Insanity is hereditary: You get it from your children. So says the bumper sticker, though I never really gave it much thought. Until Lindsay introduced me to Su Doku.
For those unfamiliar with this addiction, it's a form of puzzle, where you place numbers on a grid according to some simple rules. Su Doku originated in Japan (it means "number placement" I'm told), but became very popular in the UK. Lindsay regularly gets her fix from the Times of London website. I went out and bought a book, then stayed up way past my bedtime every night since.
There seem to be a number of desktop versions available. Pappocom's Sudoku is available for $14.95 (Windows only). I'm trying out MacSudoku from Rosborough, which sells for $9.99.
