I love our Top Searches. It's a great discovery feature that lets me find out what other people are interested in finding out about. Most days, there's something totally mysterious there for me to explore. A few clicks later, I've learned something important, or at least interesting.
Today while I was searching about, I found a blogger who was doing something valuable: explaining what all the searches were about. It's a little tongue-in-cheek, too: The author hails from Lynchburg, Virginia, and promises to explain "what all the Yankees are searching for on Technorati."
Now, my Yankee credentials are impeccable: I was brought up in Massachusetts, and I've never lived below the Mason Dixon. Nonetheless, I'm pretty clueless about IIPM, Refco and the like. So Lynchburg, here's a big "thank you" from a grateful Yankee!
